„On april 21/22 we had our first ‚Aikido Intensive‘ seminar in 2018. Subject was ‚aiki ken‘ and we covered all the Iwama Ryu syllabus from suburi, awase, kumitachi with some henka to aiki tojutsu (kihon and kata with iaito/katana). As the title implies, the nine hours of keiko were very intensive and exhausting physically and mentally, going from basics to a high level. But everybody practiced diligent and with maximum effort. In the evening we had a small party in the dojo with greek food. Thank you all for coming and hope to see you again for part 2 (31/13 kata kumijo on july 7/8) and part 3 (10 kumijo, 7 ken-tai-jo on november 24/25). A special thank to the Augsburg participants – the Grappa was very delicious :-).“
